This year the boys in 4th class have been taking part in the Young Engineers Award 2024. Since September they have had to come up with problems in their community and solutions to fixing them. There was so many brilliant ideas!!
The boys then designed and made prototypes for there ideas;
1- Solar Scooter- Scooter made out of Solar panels
2- The recycler 5000- Bins that you scan and they tell you what bin to put rubbish in
3- Sandy- Robot to clean up the beaches
4- Croí Ring- A ring that checks blood pressure
An engineer came in and spoke with the boys and they presented their projects to the whole school as well as the engineer!!
The boys should be so proud of the work they done and the ideas they came up with. They worked so incredibly hard. Well Done 4th Class👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
